Whenever I visit my parents, who live on a small lake in East Texas, I always try to wake up before sunrise and catch the Great Blue with my camera. Native Texas flora and fauna frame the Great Blue Heron in this prismalcolor drawing- a composite of several of those mornings around the lake.
